The M Power March is an exercise that developed by Morter Health System. This exercise helps to improve neurological balance re-time internal communication by extending large muscle groups and their joints through a full range of motion. Similar to cross crawl exercise which allow the brain communicate to the opposite side of the body. M Power March can also be use to update your old belief patterns or your goals in life that is not congruent with your present moment. It is also exercise you can do if you have aches and pains in your body.
1. Stand comfortably erect. Alert yet relaxed. 2. Take an extended step with your right foot, keeping your back(left) foot firmly on the floor. Stretch just far enough forward with your right foot so you can keep the heel of your back(left) foot on the floor. 3. As you extend your right leg, raise your left arm to about a 45-degree angle. Your right arm will automatically move back to help you balance. Stretch your right arm downward behind you at about a 45-degree angle. Your position at this point is right leg and left arm stretched forward, left leg and right arm stretched back. 4. Now, turn your head toward the side of the extended left arm, look up, and s-t-r-e-t-c-h. While you are in your extended position, take a deep breath, close the eye away from your extended left arm, and hold both your breath and position for five to ten seconds. 5. Exhale and repeat the maneuver with the opposite leg and arm. Repeat the sequence three times – fewer, if you become tired. 6. Do this M Power March “workout” twice a day. *If you feel unstable, spread your feet wider apart from side to side, or lean against a chair for stability, or stand between the door.
